Florence O'Mahony's CV
In February 2013, I founded The Human Zoo Theatre Company alongside my colleagues Marissa Beatty, Fleur Rooth, Chris Hooper, Nick Gilbert, Rosalind Hoy and Liberty Bliss. Since then, the company has developed and toured 'The Hive', produced in association with Jacksons Lane. We also performed at Roundhouse, as part of Accidental Festival.
We then went on to win the Les Enfants Terribles Edinburgh Award 2014, which gained us a full run with The Pleasance in Edinburgh. We are now transferring to the New Diorama on 7th and 8th September, info and tickets are available here - http://newdiorama.com/whats-on/the-hive
Our next project is 'The Girl Who Fell In Love With The Moon', commissioned by the Bluehouse Festival in Surrey. Tickets are available here - http://www.wegottickets.com/festivals/event/284587
As an artist, I am interested in creating work that is physical, visually striking and engaging. As well as ADing The Human Zoo, I am also a spoken word poet and drama workshop facilitator in primary and secondary schools. Characteristics
